Separate branding from engineering
Confirm the required brand name, cabinet finish, nameplate, language, packaging and document format. Engineering decisions still need the destination market, duty conditions, fuel, voltage, inspection requirements and interfaces.
Agree the factory acceptance scope
Define the inspection plan, document review, testing scope, acceptance criteria and evidence required before shipment. Certificates must be applicable to the actual equipment and destination requirements; a logo alone is not evidence.
Plan installation and service
Agree the installation responsibilities, commissioning approach, spare-parts list, operator training and support channels. These details should be included in the commercial and technical agreement.
